Stress

Well this past week has been a very stressful week for me. I'm in the process of switching to a totally new Starbucks Location starting the week of June 22,09. I still don't know where I will be. I will miss all my coworkers dearly, some of them I have worked with for about 2 years. I will miss all the great laughs and great stories that I had with my Starbucks family.
The cool thing that will come about this week it will help me decide whether or not I get to go to NY to see my friend Adrian in September!! This way it gives both of us something to look foward too this fall!

I want to see so much in NY! Long Island...Manhattan...The Hamptons...Pretty much everything and anything I can do in 5 days.

Christina and I hung out with a group of people at Saxby's Coffee House in Mission Viejo and watched a small band sing and play music. That night Christina wanted to set me up with a guy, unfortunately he did not show up... oh well there be plenty of other days.

This weekend was a busy weekend. I really didn't do a whole lot but work!! Stay home and watch movies! This afternoon I baby sat for my neighbor for about an hour. So I played with baby Peter and he's soooooooooo cute!!!! Otherwise I just hanging out, and looking foward to my week off from school!! YAY!! Tomorrow, I will have lunch with my dad. Tomorrow night going over to my friend Christina's house and were going to Burbank and Glen Ivy Hot Springs on Tuesday!!! Wednesday getting my hair done and going curly once again...yes I said curly!! I love this hairstyle you can still do a lot with it, but the maintance is so easy!!! Thursday-Saturday I will be working and of course Sunday is Mother's Day and still thinking of what I am going to do for my mom!!

Finally!!!

Well it's official I have my AA degree in General studies, and it feels so good to have it out of the way. Now, I can focus on my Major and on the road to getting my Bachelor's degree. Though I will be back to take some of my electives at Saddleback/IVC, but for the most part I will be at Vanguard University and I could not be happier. God is good and I give Him all the glory and Honor!!

Another day at Disneyland!!

Well today was just another day at Disneyland!! I went with my nieghbor Erica and her three little ones. Katie, Zack and Peter!! We had so much fun, we did KC JR. Train ride, then It's a small world...I will be singing the song over and over for about a week in my head!! lol. Afterwards we did the carousel which was so cute I held Katie while she was on the white horse and Erica had Peter and Zack. After all of our rides we had our ice cream treats, then headed back to the car and gave the kids there lunch in the back of the van...that was an adventure as well!! Once, everyone was fed, we packed up and headed home and Erica and I got to eat lunch. I stayed about an hour at there house, then I came home and crashed for over an hour!!
Now I working on homework and checking e-mail.

Update on School!

Well I am just about done with my 2nd set of class. At the moment I have this next week off, for Spring Break. The following week is my final, then I will finally be done with Writing and Research Skills!!!! This class was fine, but I could not stand my teacher she was so monotone.
I enjoy school a lot, but when it comes to having a teacher who has no sense of humor, it's so boring!! All I hope for is that I pass this class.

Hanging out with Christina

Last night after work I hung out with my close friend Christina, whom I've known since 10th grade. We had so much fun!! First we did a photo shoot in her amazingly decorated room, during this time we were watching Celine Dion "A New Day" DVD which was flimed in Las Vegas, NV. After we were done with the photo shoot, we went to grab a bite to eat at a Mexican resturant in RSM. Then we met up with Christina's boyfriend Jeremy who was a very nice guy and a gentleman towards Christina. Once we arrived to the house there were more of Christina and Jermy's friends at the house too! We all hung out by the fire pit in the backyard and had some really nice conversations and met a few new people which was nice for a change. It will be a while till the photos are up, since we used Christina's camera.

Today!

Well today has been an easy going day for me. I woke up around 9:30am. Decided to watch a DVD of mine. While watching my movie I had breakfast. After my movie I needed to get ready for my photo shoot with Blythe, she's took photos of me at the Spectrum...(P.S. for those who know my parents do not say anything about photos of me taken at the Spectrum, by Blythe. This is going to be a surprise for their 15th Anniversary in April!) ;)

Once, we were finished I drove back home and did a little research on my computer. Other than that it has been a quiet day.

Today I went to Santa Monica, from their we went to 3rd Street Promanade, then to Santa Monica Pier. From Santa Monica my mom, my Uncle Derek and I went to The Grove in Beverly Hills and or Culver City it's right on the border between the two!

Anyways, the first set will be in Santa Monica and the rest will be from the Grove and a little surprise at the end...!

This is the ultimate Red Velvet cupcake. This is my new favorite cake flavor, yes I still love chocolate, but their is just something about the reddness of the cake that attracts the eye so much... It's kind of like a red dress, only some girls can pull it off...only some people like red velvet cake. I guess I can say that I am one of a kind and I wouldn't want it any other way!

Disneyland!

Well this afternoon was a lot of fun I, hung out with my friend Christina who I have known since my sophomore year of high school. We went to Disneyland and rode a few rides then, saw the movie Confessions of a Shopaholoic. The movie was good, but very perdictable!! Otherwise the night was a lot of fun just us girls, we celebrated Christina's birthday, so she got her birthday pin and they even gave me a pin that said I'm celebrating! I will have pictures posted soon with the two of us.

Free time...

This past Saturday I was able to get my camera up and running again, because the batteries kept getting drained...for no apparent reason...well maybe because they were a few years old...so it was time for an update. This picture was taken by me, and I decided to make it black and white, because I think you can capture the emotion so much more. Of course my emotion that day was cheerful, joyful and just being happy!! As you can tell I consider myself a Broncos fan, because I was born in the Mile High city...aka...Denver, Colorado!! Something that I have always told myself, I will always be a California girl, but I always be a Rocky Mountain babe!, and one day hope to be a New Yorker!

A true friend...

A true friend is going to be completely honest with you. A true will love you no matter what happens in life. A ture friend will help you when you're in a bind. A true friend will always have shoulder to lean upon. A true friend will stand up for you, when you can't say anything else. The person I am pertaining to is my friend Adrian, last night I spoke to him and everything he said about me almost brought me to tears in a good way, but I was strong and I didn't let a tear out. To say the least Adrian is a great brother in Christ and that's the way it's gonna stay for a long time. For, now I am just going to enjoy being single and watch what God has planned for me.

Vanguard Cohort(class)

This is the 2009-2010 cohort at Vanguard University. I will be with all of these wonderful people till the day I graduate. I just finished my first module of classes and start the next module this Wednesday night. This is the Psychology group!!

I am so excited about tomorrow, I get to hang out with my friend Sara, who I have known for about 3 years. Just, the other day I found out she is engaged to her boyfriend Kevin. Tomorrow, we will be celebrating her birthday and we will be gioing to see the new movie "He's just not that into you"!! I am so excited to see this movie!!

Romans 12:2

Their's a lot of things going on right now in my life, and it's such a relief to know that God is looking out for me, and He knows the desires of my heart. That desire is to know that God will not give me what I don't deserve, and I put my trust and faith in Christ, and I will only lean upon Christ for strength, wisdom and most importantly descernment!

Freedom Writers

I saw this movie for the first time last night, while I was at my dad's house. This has to be the best movie that I have ever seen, if you haven't seen it rent it and watch it. It gave me a different perspective that we are different and we all walk in different strides, but knowing that we all have somthing in common, which is were all human, but each individual has a unique personality.
This is a great movie!!

I love my dog Rocky! He has to be the best dog in the world, he's playful, loving, loyal, always willing to give advice, because he has the most impectable timing, and you can be saying something and he'll just give you the biggest sigh. He's very protective, because he knows that's his job. Rocky is always there for me, when I'm having a bad day, I mean look at his face, if that can't put a smile on your face...then you must be out of your mind!
Rocky is a Keeshond, this breed is from the Netherlands, these dogs are not prone to sea sickness, because their job is to protect the ships, that our out on the barges.

Rain-Reign

It's almost that time of the night, where I start getting ready for bed. I will check my e-mails to see if anything important came about, tonight there was nothing, so I decided to blog. Afterwards I will brush my teeth, wash my face, maybe listen to my ipod and play soothing sounds of the ocean from my spa collection CD that I uploaded to my ipod. Or instead of that I will listen to the rain outside my window, and it's amazing how it has such a calming effect one's life. This week has been a little rough, but I think all in all it has made me a stronger woman. Though I am so greatful to have a Heavenly Father that loves me, that only He could give me peace, and only He can Reign in my life. Though this may sound very deep, but I pray for my future husband that he is waiting for me, with a pure heart, body and soul. Lord, I don't know where the next couple of years are going to lead me, but thank you for being being my guiding light, thank you for walking me down the narrow road, and holding my hand when I think I am gonna slip. What type of rain/reign do you want in your life? The type that will make you soaking wet and can drown you or the type that will up lift you to the surface so you can breath the living water instead?

What is Love?

Well all have those moments when we think were in love...Well do I have a small wake up call curtisy of www.tesh.com under dating and relationships.

We all know when our hearts starts to go pitter patter when that someone walks in the door, and you become nervous and yes it's alright to sweat a little!!
What is really happening is that your brain is producing chemicals like: Phenlythemine which speeds up the information to your nerve cells, thens their's dopamine which produces euphoria, and lastly norepinephrine which stimulates adrenaline.

All these chemicals are amazing, because they allow us to fall for that good looking guy or that beautiful girl.

We must remember how to control ourselves, because if you are with that special someone, these chemicals only last about 6 months, and after that other chemical that kicks in, is oxytocin which slows down the process of adrenaline, and this allows two people to bond better together.

So as you can tell I love Psychology and everything that goes along with it!! I've learned a lot over the years, and I'm still learning while my time is at Vanguard.

Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge: Has to be the most astonishing pieces of arichtecture. The last time I saw this bridge was about 4 years ago, and I hope to visit it once again in March 2009.

I keep this verse above my desk and I read it almost every day as a reminder that God has put in this place and He has crowned me with righteousness. I am so thankful that I have Christ in my life and I pray for discernment on everything I do in my life.

This week!

Well this week for will consist of me working on my essays for school. I love how when I am working on my essays I am able to resort back to my Bible for answers or at least give me a better understanding of what my topic is about. For instance my first essay was about the best ways to study for a test, but the next part of the question was asking what are the best ways of memorizing scripture and I came up with you must read the scripture, then recall the scripture that you just read, then apply it to your everyday life, and lastly use the scripture, because if you are using it you are sharing God's word, and His truth and His loving promise. Then I have another essay that I have to work on... Once my school stuff is done I will work on chores, which consist of the mound of laundry that I have to take care.

Tomorrow, I will finish up my school work. Wednesday I have class at night, but before that I will stop and get a cup of coffee from work and visit with the greatest coworkers in the world!! All my coworkers are like family to me! Thursday I work, Friday start more homework for the next week, Saturday homework and chores, lastly Church on Sunday morning! Other than that that is my week. I will keep you posted if I find out any new information...aka... my trip to NYC!!
